It all began on what history now remembers as the day of black sun, the day the shaman king tore open the veil that separates the living world and the undying realm. Hellish creatures and abominations poured out in the thousands, plunging all of humanity into an era of darkness. Kingdoms fell, civilizations vanquished, and human lives were lost in countless margins, but that would not be the end of the nightmare. As the shaman king's plan to remove the veil separating both realms and merging them into a singular domain had reached the ears of the survivors of humanity, the circumstances got all the more desperate.

And out of that desperation, a plan was born. A legion of soldiers, specifically chosen and trained for the sole purpose of traversing the borders between the realms, to usurp the shaman Kings power and put an end to the age of darkness. To achieve such a near impossible feat, a blood ritual was done to bestow upon the chosen ones the powers of a Shaman. And so their journey to the Nether begins.... will they be able to overcome the challenges of the new realm or will they succumb to the unfamiliar darkness it holds.
